Privacy Statement – online Booking

Napcabs GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this Privacy Policy.

In addition to the information on data protection found at https://www.napcabs.com/privacy-statement-website, we hereby inform you of supplementary regulations on data protection in the context of your online booking of a sleeping cabin.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail the booking confirmation or payment receipts) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

With the following Privacy Policy, you as a user of a sleeping cabin of napcabs GmbH Germany, An den Holzwiesen 6, 82131 Gauting, Germany (hereinafter referred to as "Provider"), will be informed about the collection and use of personal data in the context of your booking and use of the sleeping cabin.

General Data Collection and Data Processing

Each time you book one of our sleeping cabins, we and our payment service providers and telecommunications providers collect and process the personal data you provide (name, address, e-mail, payment data). The collection and processing of this data is only for the purpose of booking and usage processing.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of the booking contract).

Definition of Personal Data

Personal data contains individual details about personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This data includes, for example, name, address, e-mail address or telephone number. Usage data is also considered personal data.

Collection of Personal Data

Personal data will only be collected by us if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection of the data. In the case of your booking, your acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy is documented in the booking process by ticking "I have read and accept the Privacy Policy"; the processing of your booking itself is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of the contract). Your data is deleted once it is no longer required for the performance of the contract, unless a statutory retention obligation applies — for example, booking and invoicing records that are relevant for commercial or tax purposes must be retained for the periods required under German commercial and tax law (e.g. Sec. 257 HGB, Sec. 147 AO), which are longer than the period for which your data is retained for booking-management purposes alone.

Third-party Content and Services

Third-party Services

In principle, we do not transfer your data to third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. at the request of law enforcement authorities) or we need them to carry out business processes or use them within the framework of a data processing agreement — e.g. payment service providers, web hosting providers or IT service providers. In all cases, we strictly observe all legal requirements. Data may also be transmitted to other states in which these contractual partners may be located or process the data.

Provision of Chargeable Services – Online Booking of our Sleeping Cabins

We work in payment transactions with the following service providers:

  • PAYONE GmbH, Frankfurt am Main
  • PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg
  • Unzer E-Com GmbH, Heidelberg

All third-party service providers are subject to confidentiality agreements and may process your personal data exclusively for the purposes described above. As part of your booking, we only transmit the data required for payment processing to these providers. Regarding the handling and storage of your data by these third-party service providers, please visit their respective privacy policies:

If a chargeback request for your booking is submitted by you or the holder of the credit card used, it may happen that we have to share certain booking details with the payment provider and the respective financial institution in order to process the chargeback request. These details may include a copy of your booking confirmation. In addition, we may share information with the relevant financial institutions if we believe this is essential to detect or prevent fraudulent activities.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of the payment) and, where applicable, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing fraud) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (compliance with a specific legal obligation, e.g. under anti-money-laundering law).

Advertising and Analytics Measurement (Cross-Domain)

In order to measure whether a booking completed on this booking subdomain (booking.napcabs.com) resulted from an advertisement on our main website (napcabs.com), we use Google's Conversion Linker together with Google Tag Manager to link data across the two domains for Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads Conversion Tracking purposes. The Meta Pixel described in our Privacy Statement – Website may likewise record the completion of a booking on this page.

No additional personal data beyond what is described in our Privacy Statement – Website is collected for this purpose; only click and conversion measurement data is linked between the two domains. For full details on Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads Conversion Tracking and Meta Pixel, including your consent and opt-out options, please see our Privacy Statement – Website: https://www.napcabs.com/privacy-statement-website
